Growing the sport
Fun & formal
Disc Golf has grown rapidly within Australia. The sport has deep roots set in the USA and Europe. Competitors have been playing for decades and many tournaments and professional events have been formed. Disc Golf is internationally recognised as a great leisure activity with family and friends, but also can be an important event for those to showcase their skills in the sport. The Toowoomba Disc Golf Club annually hosts the Garden City Open. People from across the state and country partake in this event including children’s events alongside women’s and men’s grades.
Keep track of your scores and help navigate courses. For casual rounds most players rely upon UDisc to help keep track of player data, scores and statistics. Disc Golf Metrix is the data collection and scoring system used by most Australian clubs to record league day data and scores. These app can be downloaded from the Android App Store and the Apple App Store.
